This data has been developed uisng the lateral jurisdictional extent defined by Pend Oreille County GIS for use in their 2008-2010 SMP Update. The Lateral extent is defined as being the 200' shoreland zone on current and proposed jurisdictional waters, and wetlands that intersect this 200' shoreland zone and the 100yr floodplain. The reach dataset was then broken up into reaches based on previously delineated reaches from the FERC relicensing processes for Box Canyon and Boundary Dams, channel mophology as defined by the Kalispel tribe, and ownership change as mapped by POC GIS.
This dataset is intended to be a tool to focus analytic efforts for the Pend Oreille County SMP Update.
